Now that he's fully healthy, we believe Wes has a chance to be the best player on the field in a lot of games next year. He can play inside or outside and he makes a lot of athletic catches. He's got great hands and ball skills and runs great routes. He could make an immediate impact next year.
He's your prototypical middle linebacker and we expect him to compete for a starting spot right away. We're depleted at the outside receiver position due to Marcus Johnson and Andrew Bridgeforth finishing their senior years last fall and Ahmad helps fill an immediate need at that spot.
